“Wow!” Rowena stared in amazement at the rocks. It was beautiful, and even more so due to the bushes around.
Em shook her head at her friend’s antics. “Not that Row. It’s impressive and all but that’s not why I dragged you out on the first day of Summer.”
Row gave her friend a look that said ‘Are you kidding me?’ but probably was ‘You dragged me out of my comfy bed. It better be good.’
Em said nothing and bent down. Parting a large patch of grass aside, she revealed a hole. Row, now intrigued, got closer. With a wide grin and unnecessary dramatism, Em slinked down the hole.
“EM!” Row cried in alarm before following her friend down the hole. She landed on a soft ground and walked on, intent on finding her slippery friend. She found her, sometime later, sitting on a mat smiling.
“What is this place?” She asked amazed.
“Dunno.” Em shrugged. “Found it by accident one day.”
They sat there for a while, chatting away idly. They left some time later, their stomachs growling, their hearts full and with the promise to return.
