Crash

His eyes were everywhere at once, moving more rapidly than required. He had so much to do and judging by his actions, he was doing everything at once. In his haste, he never saw the other car, and similarly, neither did the other driver.

Waves #writephoto

The sun-kissed beach brought them together,
the waves of passion that marked them forever.

The tranquility they got with each other,
emotions running in a haphazard fashion.

They moved quickly and surely,
the heat of the summer egging them on.

Strangers they might be, unknown before
but for that instant that didn’t matter.

A week they spent together,
confiding secrets never before heard.

The fire in their eyes burning brighter
than anything they’d ever felt before.

A memorable time, for each of them
a time of yearning and wonder.

As quickly as they’d come, they left
never to see each other again,
each leaving a footprint on the other,
a print to be washed away.

Rush
